Dandruff
Understand dandruff and find the right solution
Dandruff is more than just flakes—it’s often a sign of scalp imbalance, excess oil, or product buildup. It can cause itching, irritation, and visible discomfort. The good news? With the right shampoo and consistent care, dandruff can be effectively controlled, leaving your scalp clean and your hair healthy.

INGREDIENTS
Aqua-water, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium n-lauroylsarcosinate, coco glucoside, stearalkonium chloride, glycol distearate, glycerin, lactic acid, benzyl alcohol, zinc oxide, aloe vera, melaleuca aternifolia essential oil, azadirachta indica (neem) oil, mentha piperita essential oil, laurus nobilis essential oil, rosmarinus officinalis essential oil, pinus sylvestris essential oil, citrus dulcis essential oil, citrus limonum essential oil, niacinamide, salicylic acid, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, apple cider vinegar, limonene, linalool, citral.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
Apply a small amount of shampoo to wet scalp and hair. Gently massage into the scalp for 2–3 minutes to allow active ingredients to act. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use 2–3 times per week or as advised by your dermatologist. Avoid contact with eyes.
Note: If your scalp is very dry or dehydrated, the cleansing process may initially cause more flaking or tightness. This is temporary and often a sign of deeper exfoliation. To restore balance, consider using a hydrating conditioner or scalp serum after washing.
PRECAUTIONS
- For external use only
- In case of excessive dryness, use alongside a moisturizing serum or conditioner
- Discontinue if irritation occurs

I have wavy and damaged hair due to bleaching it and feels rough mostly. However since I have started using this shampoo I can see a significant improvement in my hair texture and feel plus the dandruff due to dryness has reduces. I use the shampoo 2/3 times a week. The smell is also nice which leaves my hair smelling fresh and nice too. Great for ageing hair to keep them fresh and alive.
I highly recommend these and could be an ideal gift too for christmas, wedding, birthday etc.

The lid on the bottle has a very unusual design, which is so simple to use when you have wet hands. It’s a bit like the long and short flush buttons on a toilet cistern. If you press the small button, the larger button pops up, allowing you to squeeze out the desired amount of shampoo from the bottle. To close the bottle when you’ve finished, you just push the larger button down flat. The button action is very smooth and easy. Once opened, the product has a 12 month shelf life. There was also a best before date of almost 2 years left on the bottle I received to test.
Before using this shampoo, shake the bottle really well to mix up the ingredients. Apply a small amount to wet hair and lather up to remove any initial grease and grime. Rinse thoroughly, then repeat the wash, this time massaging the shampoo into the scalp for 2-3 minutes, before rinsing again. For best results use this shampoo 2-3 times per week. If required, follow with a conditioner from either this brand, or whatever conditioner you prefer. Use more often for oily hair, or less often for dry hair. This shampoo lathers up really well with a very small amount, even on the first wash, so you don’t need to use much each time. It comes out of the bottle as a fairly thick consistency clear transparent liquid. It smells really lovely and natural. The peppermint oil is the most predominant smell, but it’s subtle, not overpoweringly minty. You feel it's cooling tingly effect as you lather it into your scalp.
Although this shampoo may appear to be expensive, my husband usually spends around £7 on a 60ml bottle of Nizoral. The price of this actually works out slightly cheaper, as the bottle contains 200ml. Nizoral works for my husband, but tends to leave his grey hair looking a bit dry and wiry. This shampoo left his hair looking more smooth sleek silver fox than wiry Brillo pad. There was not a single flake of dandruff to be seen. He was happy, and I thought his hair looked great after using this. It felt lovely and soft too, even though he didn’t use any conditioner. I will definitely be buying him this in future instead of Nizoral.

£22.90 Original price was: £22.90.£19.00Current price is: £19.00.

The shampoo comes boxed and is quite thick in consistacy, clear in colour and has a tea tree oil fragrance. All the ingredients and their benefits are in the product description.
It lathers well and rinses easily and feels very soothing on the scalp and so far seems to be helping with the flaking. I'll come back and update the review after more longer term use, but so far, our experience of using this shampoo has been very positive.
